One of our most frequent inquiries is how to get started homeschooling. For this reason, we have created a "Homeschooling 101" class for parents! It utilizes Google Classroom and is completely free and at your own pace. Join the class and let us know what you think!
Utah Tech University has a free STEM & Arts lending library open to homeschoolers! From Lego Robotics to musical instruments to plant grow kits to sewing machines - with so many amazing and fun "toys" to try, you're sure to find something to take home! Browse the inventory online or stop in to explore items in person.
A fantastic resource from the Department of Workforce Services: High School age youth & young adults can literally get paid to earn their GED/diploma, get a certificate or apprenticeship, take financial literacy classes, receive job placement assistance, and much more. (They even have VR glasses to try out different professions!)
Our friend Natalie, at Prime Mind Learning, has curated an extensive helpful list of homeschool resources in the greater St. George area. From Facebook groups to Civil Air Patrol, there is something for everyone.
Utah Family Connections is a unique program that provides in-home support for parents with children under the age of 8 years old. They come to you to help with whatever you may need...from math to organizing, they are there to be a support. (They also have great nurse partnership programs for first time moms!)
Our local 4H is a great resource for classes ranging from sewing to agriculture to STEM and so much more!
